IFAK Survival First Aid Kit

A self-aid trauma kit designed to be worn and accessed one-handed — built for situations where the injury is serious, help is not close, and the person treating it might be the person who is hurt. The IFAK Survival fits in a MOLLE pouch available in four colours, attaches to a belt, vest, or drop-leg rig, and contains the equipment for immediate major bleed and penetrating wound management.

• Trauma shears, nitrile gloves, cotton calico triangular bandage, and thermal blanket The supporting items for wound exposure, infection control, immobilisation, and shock management once bleeding is controlled. Trauma shears cut through clothing and gear to access the wound site fast. The thermal blanket manages shock during extended waits for evacuation. Controlling bleeding is only the first step — keeping the patient stable until help arrives requires the rest of this kit.
