Description
Eye injuries require the right dressing — not the nearest pad. A standard wound dressing applied to an injured eye can cause pressure on the socket, introduce lint, or worsen contamination. These sterile oval eye pads are shaped and constructed specifically for eye injuries — soft enough to sit comfortably over the orbital area, low-lint to avoid further irritation, and non-adherent so they do not disturb the injury on removal.
TGA-approved and hospital-grade, these are the eye pads included in our own kits and restocked by workplaces, schools, and labs that take eye injury management seriously. Eye injuries from debris, chemical splash, or impact are among the most common workplace injuries in manufacturing, construction, and laboratory environments — the right dressing needs to be in the kit before the incident, not sourced after.
- Sterile, oval, and shaped for correct eye coverage Oval shape provides full coverage of the eye and surrounding orbital area without gaps. Sterile packaging maintains integrity until the moment of use. Correct coverage prevents further contamination from airborne particles or incidental contact while the casualty is being assessed or transported.
- Non-woven, low-lint surface — no pressure on the eye socket The non-woven surface does not shed lint onto an injured eye, which matters particularly for chemical splash injuries or foreign body removal where a clean field is critical. The pad is designed to protect without applying direct pressure to the socket — an important distinction for injuries where pressure could cause further damage.
- TGA-approved, hospital-grade, hypoallergenic and latex-free Safe for all skin types including sensitive skin. Latex-free construction eliminates the risk of an allergic response during an already stressful injury event. TGA-approved and hospital-grade — the same standard used in clinical settings, available for workplace and field use.
- Clearly marked packaging, single-use, essential for WHS-compliant kits Clearly marked for rapid identification under pressure. Single-use and individually packaged to maintain sterility. Required in WHS-compliant first aid kits for any worksite, lab, school, or office where debris, chemical, or impact eye injuries are a realistic risk. Ships from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.
