Description
The NSW Police Station Kit is a fixed-location first aid kit built specifically for the station house environment — watch house, custody area, front desk, and staff facilities. Developed in direct consultation with NSW Police staff and suitable for all NSW Local Area Commands, it meets the specific operational and WHS requirements of a working police station without compromise.
This is not a standard workplace kit placed in a police station. Every item has been selected for the incidents and environment that station-based officers and staff actually encounter — including custody, detainee management, and the broader range of situations that arise in a working station house. Contents are updated regularly and are available on request.
- Built to NSW Police operational specifications for station house environments Developed in consultation with NSW Police staff and suitable for all NSW LACs. The station kit covers the fixed-location first aid requirements of the station building itself — distinct from the vehicle and operational kits in the NSW Police range. Contents are not published publicly and are available on request to verified NSW Police personnel and command staff.
- TGA-approved consumables, long expiry, selected for operational relevance All consumables are TGA-approved and carry long expiry dates to keep the kit operationally ready between maintenance cycles. Nothing has been added to bulk up a count — every item is included because it is relevant to the station environment and the incidents that occur there.
- Meets SafeWork Australia Code of Practice for First Aid in the Workplace NSW Police apply WHS obligations at a high standard across all commands. This kit is built to meet those obligations in a fixed station house setting — not the baseline minimum a standard employer might accept. Compliant with SafeWork Australia's model WHS legislation and Code of Practice, with contents appropriate for a high-risk operational workplace.
- Green tackle box format for fixed wall or shelf mounting — packed by hand in Dubbo, NSW The tackle box format is suited to fixed station locations — easily wall-mounted, clearly identifiable, and straightforward to audit and restock. Every kit is packed and inspected by hand in Dubbo, NSW. Our founder has 18 years experience as a remote first aid trainer — including active service with the Dubbo VRA, two years in aeromedical patient transport with Airmed, and qualification as an EMT. This is not a kit designed by a catalogue buyer.
