Description

Eye contamination from dust, debris, or chemical splash requires immediate flushing — and the flushing solution needs to be sterile, isotonic, and immediately available at the point of incident. This single 15ml sterile sodium chloride ampoule is the compact, individual-use format for standard first aid kit inclusion — sized to sit in any kit bag, tackle box, or vehicle kit and ready to deploy without preparation the moment it is needed.

Sterile 0.9% sodium chloride is isotonic — it matches the natural salt concentration of tears and does not cause additional irritation to the eye surface during flushing. Single-use format maintains sterility until the ampoule is opened and eliminates the cross-contamination risk of partially used bottles. The standard eyewash inclusion in our Type A and Type B workplace restock packs — replace after every use.

  • Sterile 0.9% sodium chloride — isotonic, safe for direct eye contact Isotonic saline matches the natural salt concentration of tears, making it safe for direct, prolonged eye contact without causing additional irritation or damage to the eye surface. Sterile formulation eliminates contamination risk at the point of use. The correct solution for eye irrigation in first aid — not tap water from a worksite, not saline from a reused bottle opened days earlier.
  • Single 15ml ampoule — compact kit inclusion size, single-use sterility The 15ml single ampoule format is sized for individual first aid kit inclusion — compact enough to carry in any kit bag, vehicle kit, or outdoor pack without bulk. Single-use construction confirms sterility at the point of need and eliminates the cross-contamination associated with partially used bottles stored in shared kits. Open, flush, discard — replace in the kit before the next incident.
  • Eye irrigation and wound cleansing — WHS compliant Used for flushing eyes after dust, debris, and chemical splash exposure, and for irrigating wounds and abrasions before dressing. Eye irrigation solution is a required item in WHS-compliant first aid kits for any workplace with eye injury risk under WHS Regulation 42 — covering construction, manufacturing, agriculture, mining, laboratories, and any environment with significant dust, debris, or chemical exposure. Included as standard in our Type A and Type B restock packs.
  • Tamper-evident — confirms unused status at the point of need The tamper-evident ampoule confirms the solution is sterile and unused before application. In a shared first aid kit, a tamper-evident single-use ampoule is the correct format — there is no question about whether the solution has been partially used or contaminated before you reach for it. Ships from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.
For higher-volume eye irrigation in fixed first aid stations and high-dust or chemical work areas, the 100ml and 250ml sodium chloride eyewash bottles provide more solution per unit. The 15ml single ampoule is the correct inclusion size for individual kit carry. Use our First Aid Restock Form to track what has been used and stay audit-ready.
