Description

A plaster that stays on through a full shift in trade, construction, manufacturing, or food production is a different product to a standard chemist band-aid — and treating them the same is how wounds end up exposed, contaminated, and infected. The AeroPlast Premium Weight Fabric Adhesive Bandage is built specifically for demanding environments where standard plasters fail: heavy duty fabric backing, SupaBond extra-strong adhesive that does not lift or curl at the edges, and a SupaSorb wound pad that manages exudate and protects the site through tough conditions.

Available in a comprehensive range of sizes including fingertip and knuckle dressings, large and small patches, standard and extra-wide — because a wound can only be properly covered if the dressing actually fits it.

  • SupaBond adhesive — stays on, no edge lift, no sticky residue SupaBond is engineered for unrivalled adhesion across the full dressing surface, preventing the edge lifting and corner curling that renders standard plasters useless after an hour of physical work. Latex-free and leaves no sticky residue on removal — a meaningful difference for workers changing dressings daily on hands and fingers. Secure adhesion means the wound stays covered and protected through the shift.
  • SupaSorb wound pad — absorbs exudate, non-adherent, reduces dressing changes The SupaSorb wound pad drains blood and exudate into internal pockets rather than allowing it to pool at the wound surface, keeping the site clean and minimising the number of dressing changes required. The non-adherent film means the pad does not stick to the wound on removal — reducing pain and tissue trauma at the change, which matters when hands are being redressed multiple times across a working week.
  • Heavy duty fabric backing — conforms to body contours, air permeable The fabric backing conforms to finger joints, knuckles, and body contours without restricting movement — critical for manual workers who need full hand function while protecting a wound. Air permeable construction allows the wound site to breathe, supporting healing without the moisture build-up that accelerates infection under occlusive dressings.
  • Full size range including fingertip, knuckle, standard, and extra-wide Fingertip and knuckle dressings are shaped for the anatomical contours that flat rectangular plasters cannot cover properly. Large patches for broader wound coverage. Extra-wide for high-movement areas. A comprehensive range means the right size is always available — not a compromise fit that leaves the wound edge exposed. Ships from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.
Change dressing daily or more often according to wound condition. Apply and remove carefully from sensitive or fragile skin. Seek medical advice immediately for serious wounds or burns. This product is not a substitute for direct medical attention from a healthcare practitioner. Download the Safety Data Sheet for full product specifications. FAQs

What makes AeroPlast Premium Fabric Bandages different from standard plasters?
AeroPlast Premium Fabric Bandages use SupaBond extra-strong adhesive that prevents edge lifting and corner curling through physical work, and a SupaSorb wound pad that absorbs exudate and reduces dressing changes. The heavy duty fabric backing conforms to body contours and remains intact through demanding conditions where standard plasters fail within hours.

What is SupaBond adhesive?
SupaBond is AeroPlast's proprietary adhesive engineered for strong, consistent adhesion across the full dressing surface. It prevents the edge lifting and corner curling common with standard plasters in physical work environments, is latex-free, and leaves no sticky residue on removal.

What is the SupaSorb wound pad?
The SupaSorb wound pad drains blood and wound exudate into internal pockets, keeping the wound site clean and reducing the frequency of dressing changes. The non-adherent film means the pad does not stick to the wound on removal, reducing pain and tissue trauma — particularly relevant for wounds on hands and fingers that are redressed regularly.

What sizes are available?
AeroPlast Premium Fabric Bandages are available in a comprehensive range including fingertip dressings, knuckle dressings, large and small patches, standard, and extra-wide sizes. Select the size suited to the wound location and size at checkout.

Are these plasters latex-free?
Yes. The SupaBond adhesive is latex-free and leaves no sticky residue on removal, making these dressings suitable for use in environments where latex sensitivity is a consideration.

How often should the dressing be changed?
Change the dressing daily or more frequently according to the condition of the wound. If redness, discomfort, or signs of infection develop, discontinue use and seek medical advice. This product is not a substitute for direct medical attention from a healthcare practitioner.

How quickly does this ship?
AeroPlast Premium Weight Fabric Adhesive Bandages ship from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.

About Assurance First Aid Kits

It started back in 2008 when Samantha, a first aid trainer, kept getting the same question from her students: "But what kit should I actually buy?" After years of recommending products that didn't quite hit the mark, she and her partner Dan decided to build one themselves — right here in Dubbo, NSW.

Every kit is hand-assembled by Dan in our Dubbo store using 85% Australian-made components. No cheap fillers, no imported bulk packs — just quality gear that works when it matters most.

Samantha still trains, alongside Max and Neil, delivering nationally recognised first aid courses in Dubbo and surrounding areas. That real-world training experience is baked into every kit we build.

We're not a warehouse. We're not a big box retailer. We're a small Australian team who genuinely care whether you're prepared.
