Description

Gloves are not optional in first aid — they protect the responder from blood and fluid exposure, and protect the patient from the responder's hands. These Large Nitrile Powder-Free Gloves are individually sealed as a single-use pair, sized for larger hands, and ready to drop into any first aid kit that needs a glove pair included as standard. Latex-free, powder-free, and WHS compliant.

The single-pair sealed format is the correct way to include gloves in an individual first aid kit — one incident, one pair, replaced after use. No loose gloves in the bottom of a bag, no uncertainty about whether the gloves have been used or contaminated before you reach for them.

  • Single-use pair, individually sealed — ready for immediate use Sealed packaging maintains hygiene and confirms the gloves are unused at the point of need. In a first aid response, reaching into a kit and finding a sealed pair of gloves is a different experience to finding loose gloves of unknown provenance. The sealed pair format is the correct standard for individual kit inclusion — replace after every use.
  • Large size nitrile — latex-free, powder-free Large size for responders with larger hands — a glove that is too small tears under tension and fails at the moment it is most needed. Nitrile construction eliminates latex allergy risk for both responder and patient. Powder-free to avoid residue contamination at the wound site and reduce skin irritation with repeated use.
  • Ambidextrous — no sorting under pressure Ambidextrous fit means both gloves go on immediately without checking left from right under the stress of a first aid response. A small detail that matters when speed and composure both count.
  • Meets WHS minimum requirements for workplace first aid kits Examination gloves are a mandatory inclusion in WHS-compliant workplace first aid kits under the SafeWork Australia Code of Practice. A kit without gloves does not meet the standard — and a WHS audit will find it. Ships from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.
WHS audits check for PPE including gloves in every kit. A used pair needs to be replaced before the next incident — not discovered missing during an inspection. Use our First Aid Restock Form to track what has been used and stay audit-ready. Need gloves in bulk? The box of 100 nitrile gloves is available in the same range. FAQs

Why are gloves required in a first aid kit?
Gloves are mandatory in WHS-compliant first aid kits because they protect the first aider from blood and bodily fluid exposure and protect the patient from contamination from the responder's hands. Examination gloves are a minimum PPE requirement under the SafeWork Australia Code of Practice for First Aid in the Workplace.

What is the difference between this single pair and the box of 100?
The single sealed pair is designed for inclusion in individual first aid kits — one pair per kit, replaced after each use. The box of 100 is suited to first aid rooms, workplaces, schools, and events where gloves are used regularly and bulk stock is required. Both are the same nitrile powder-free glove.

Why are these gloves large size?
Large size gloves are included in first aid kits to accommodate responders with larger hands. A glove that is too small restricts movement and is more likely to tear under tension during a first aid response. If your workforce or kit users require a different size, other sizes are available — contact us on 02 6882 9056.

Are these gloves latex-free?
Yes. These gloves are nitrile and latex-free, eliminating latex allergy risk for both the first aider and the patient. They are also powder-free to avoid wound site contamination and reduce skin irritation with repeated use.

Are these gloves sterile?
These gloves are non-sterile examination gloves, which is the correct standard for first aid use. Sterile gloves are required for surgical and invasive procedures — non-sterile nitrile examination gloves meet the WHS standard for first aid kit inclusion and general first aid response.

About Assurance First Aid Kits

It started back in 2008 when Samantha, a first aid trainer, kept getting the same question from her students: "But what kit should I actually buy?" After years of recommending products that didn't quite hit the mark, she and her partner Dan decided to build one themselves — right here in Dubbo, NSW.

Every kit is hand-assembled by Dan in our Dubbo store using 85% Australian-made components. No cheap fillers, no imported bulk packs — just quality gear that works when it matters most.

Samantha still trains, alongside Max and Neil, delivering nationally recognised first aid courses in Dubbo and surrounding areas. That real-world training experience is baked into every kit we build.

We're not a warehouse. We're not a big box retailer. We're a small Australian team who genuinely care whether you're prepared.
