Everything you need to know...

Description

Keep your first aid kit current without the guesswork. The First Aid Kit Restock 10 Person is a complete Type A compliant refill pack — everything needed to return a depleted 10-person first aid kit to full working order in a single order, with no bag included. Matched to the First Aid Code of Practice 2019 recommendations for workplaces, schools, and family use.

If you already have a bag or box and just need to restock it properly, this is the pack. Every item is TGA-approved, individually listed on the included content sheet, and selected for the real incidents a 10-person kit is expected to cover — cuts, burns, eye injuries, sprains, and medical emergencies — not padded out with duplicates to make the count look impressive.

  • Wound care, dressings, and bandaging — complete coverage 25-pack band-aids, low-adherent pads in two sizes, sterile combine dressing, wound dressing #14, conforming gauze bandages in two widths, crepe bandage, hypoallergenic tape, triangular bandage, safety pins, tweezers, stainless steel scissors, and splinter probes. Everything needed to dress and manage wounds from minor cuts to serious lacerations — nothing borrowed from a different kit category.
  • Burns, eye injuries, and emergency response supplies Three burn gel sachets, two oval eye pads, four eyewash and wound irrigation ampoules, instant ice pack, and an emergency thermal blanket. The burn gel and eyewash ampoules are the items most commonly missing from restocked kits — this pack includes them as standard because they are needed, not optional.
  • Infection control and hygiene Two pairs nitrile gloves, disposable face shield sachet, six alcohol-free cleansing wipes, six povidone iodine swabs, two gauze swabs, and amputated parts bags. TGA-approved across all consumable items. Nitrile gloves rather than latex — suitable for environments where latex sensitivity is a consideration.
  • First aid reference materials and incident documentation First aid leaflet with CPR flowchart, content list, and a first aid notebook and pen for recording incident details, times, and actions taken. The notebook is the item most workplaces and families forget — and the one that matters most when an incident needs to be documented for WHS or insurance purposes.
Suits any existing 10-person first aid kit bag or box — workplace, school, family home, or vehicle. Type A compliant and matched to the First Aid Code of Practice 2019. If you need a bag as well, browse our full refill and restock range or use the Find My Kit tool to find the right complete kit for your situation. Packed and inspected by hand in Dubbo, NSW — every item listed, every expiry checked before it leaves us.

What is a Type A first aid kit and is this restock compliant?
A Type A first aid kit is the standard kit recommended under the First Aid Code of Practice 2019 for low-risk workplaces and environments with up to 10 persons. This restock pack is matched to Type A requirements and is WorkSafe approved and workplace compliant.

Does this restock pack include a bag or box?
No. This is a consumables-only restock pack designed to refill an existing 10-person first aid kit bag or box. It suits any standard Type A kit container — workplace, school, family home, or vehicle. If you need a complete kit including bag, use the Find My Kit tool at assurancefirstaidkits.com.au.

Is this restock suitable for a family first aid kit?
Yes. The 10-person restock is well suited to family first aid kits, 4WD and camping kits, home kits, and any existing bag or box that needs to be brought back to full working order. It covers the full range of injuries a family kit is expected to manage — cuts, burns, eye injuries, sprains, and emergency response.

How often should a 10-person first aid kit be restocked?
Under the First Aid Code of Practice 2019, first aid kits should be checked after each use and restocked promptly. A full audit and restock should be completed at minimum every 12 months to replace expired or used items. The included content list makes it straightforward to check what needs replacing at each audit.

Are the items in this restock pack TGA-approved?
Yes. All consumable items in this restock pack are TGA-approved, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. Gloves are nitrile rather than latex, making them suitable for environments where latex sensitivity is a consideration.

Where is this restock pack made and who packs it?
Every restock pack is packed and inspected by hand in Dubbo, NSW. Our founder has 18 years experience as a remote first aid trainer — including active service with the Dubbo VRA, two years in aeromedical patient transport with Airmed, and qualification as an EMT.
