Description

Fingertips and knuckles are the two locations where standard rectangular bandage strips consistently fail. A flat strip applied to a fingertip wrinkles, lifts at the edges, and detaches within an hour of any manual work. A flat strip across a knuckle splits at the crease with the first time the finger bends. The AeroPlast Fingertip & Knuckle Fabric Bandages are shaped specifically for these two locations — the fingertip dressing wraps the contoured tip, the knuckle dressing spans the joint with a cut-out profile that flexes without splitting.

Heavy duty premium weight fabric, SupaBond adhesive, and SupaSorb wound pad — the same construction as the full AeroPlast heavy duty range, in the shapes that actually work on the hardest locations to dress. Box of 12. The correct addition to any workplace kit where hand injuries are common.

  • Fingertip and knuckle shapes — designed for the locations standard strips fail The fingertip dressing is shaped to wrap the contoured tip of the finger without wrinkling or lifting at the edges. The knuckle dressing has a profile specifically designed to span the joint crease and flex with finger movement without splitting at the bend. Standard rectangular strips applied to either location detach quickly under manual work — these shapes stay on because they are designed for the anatomy.
  • SupaBond adhesive — stays on through manual work, washing, and movement SupaBond extra-strong adhesive prevents edge lifting and corner curling through physical work, repeated hand washing, and finger movement. Latex-free and leaves no sticky residue on removal. The adhesive that keeps a shaped dressing in place on high-movement anatomy — not a standard adhesive trying to hold onto a knuckle through a working shift.
  • SupaSorb wound pad — absorbs exudate, non-adherent on removal The SupaSorb wound pad drains blood and exudate into internal pockets, keeping the wound site clean and reducing dressing changes. The non-adherent film prevents the pad from bonding to the wound on removal — no secondary wound trauma when the dressing is changed after a shift, which matters on sensitive fingertip wounds in particular.
  • Heavy duty premium weight fabric — box of 12, latex-free, hypoallergenic Premium weight fabric backing conforms to finger anatomy and withstands heavy duty applications in manufacturing, trade, and construction environments. Air permeable for comfortable extended wear. Box of 12 — enough for a workplace first aid kit or high-use environment where fingertip and knuckle injuries are a regular occurrence. Ships from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.
Change dressing daily or more often according to wound condition. Apply and remove carefully from sensitive or fragile skin. Seek medical advice immediately for serious wounds or burns. FAQs

Why are fingertip and knuckle bandages different from standard strips?
Standard rectangular strips fail on fingertips and knuckles because they are not shaped for those locations. A flat strip on a fingertip wrinkles and lifts at the edges, and a flat strip across a knuckle splits at the joint crease with finger movement. Fingertip dressings are shaped to wrap the contoured tip without wrinkling. Knuckle dressings have a cut-out profile designed to flex with the joint without splitting. The shape is what keeps the dressing in place through manual work and repeated movement.

How many bandages come in the box?
Each box contains 12 AeroPlast Fingertip and Knuckle Fabric Bandages in the specialist shaped formats. The box includes a mix of fingertip and knuckle dressings.

Are these bandages suitable for use in trade and manufacturing environments?
Yes. The heavy duty premium weight fabric and SupaBond extra-strong adhesive are specifically suited to trade, manufacturing, and construction environments where hands are in contact with surfaces, tools, water, and materials throughout the shift. These are the locations where standard plasters fail most quickly — the heavy duty construction is the reason to use this format over a standard strip on a hand injury.

Are these bandages latex-free?
Yes. AeroPlast Fingertip and Knuckle Fabric Bandages are latex-free and hypoallergenic, suitable for all skin types.

How often should fingertip and knuckle dressings be changed?
Change the dressing daily or more frequently according to the condition of the wound. If redness, discomfort, or signs of infection develop, discontinue use and seek medical advice. This product is not a substitute for direct medical attention from a healthcare practitioner.

How quickly does this ship?
AeroPlast Fingertip and Knuckle Fabric Bandages ship from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.

About Assurance First Aid Kits

It started back in 2008 when Samantha, a first aid trainer, kept getting the same question from her students: "But what kit should I actually buy?" After years of recommending products that didn't quite hit the mark, she and her partner Dan decided to build one themselves — right here in Dubbo, NSW.

Every kit is hand-assembled by Dan in our Dubbo store using 85% Australian-made components. No cheap fillers, no imported bulk packs — just quality gear that works when it matters most.

Samantha still trains, alongside Max and Neil, delivering nationally recognised first aid courses in Dubbo and surrounding areas. That real-world training experience is baked into every kit we build.

We're not a warehouse. We're not a big box retailer. We're a small Australian team who genuinely care whether you're prepared.
