Description
Most sports first aid kits are built for compliance, not for the actual injuries that happen in high-contact sport. The Elite Sports First Aid Kit is the step up from our Sports Medical Kit — designed for representative teams, extended away trips, and programs where the injuries are more serious and the nearest hospital is not around the corner.
It covers everything the club-level kit does, then adds a full splint set, heavyweight elastic bandages, large-format ice packs, butterfly wound closures, and a complete dressing and taping system purpose-built for fracture and dislocation management in the field. When a player fractures a wrist or dislocates a finger during a regional away game, you need to immobilise it properly before the drive to hospital — not improvise with what's left in a generic kit.
- Full splint set — finger, wrist, and arm/leg splints This is the critical difference between this kit and a club-level kit. Fractures and dislocations are the injuries most likely to be mismanaged in the field when the right equipment isn't there. Read why coaches at representative level are moving away from generic kits — proper immobilisation before transport is the standard you're responsible for.
- Five heavyweight elastic bandages, two ice pack sizes, and instant cooling spray Two widths of elastic bandage for wrapping and compression, a large 240g instant ice pack alongside a standard size, and instant cooling spray for high-contact situations where bulk and impact are part of the game. Built for larger bodies and harder impacts than a junior club kit is expected to manage.
- Three rolls of rigid sports tape, kinesiology tape, and a full wound care system Butterfly wound closures, dressing roll, cotton applicators, basic dressing packs, and two antiseptic sprays. Nothing borrowed from a workplace compliance kit — every item chosen for sport. Understand your obligations as a representative club or sporting organisation before your next away trip.
- 4.5kg fully stocked, available in two bag options, packed by hand in Dubbo NSW Every kit is packed and inspected by hand in Dubbo, NSW. Our founder has 18 years experience as a remote first aid trainer — including active service with the Dubbo VRA, two years in aeromedical patient transport with Airmed, and qualification as an EMT. This is not a kit designed by a catalogue buyer.
