Description

A CPR mask is the barrier between the first aider and the patient during rescue breathing — and a mask that fails, leaks, or is not there when needed is no mask at all. This hospital-grade CPR Mask in Hard Cover is TGA-approved, built for real resuscitation situations, and stored in a durable hard-shell ABS case that protects it from damage, dust, and contamination between uses.

The hard case is the difference between a mask that is ready when you reach for it and one that has been crushed at the bottom of a kit bag. For home oxygen therapy users, carers, remote property owners, and anyone building a kit that needs to perform under pressure — this is the correct specification.

  • Hospital-grade construction — TGA approved for Australian compliance TGA-approved and built to the standard used by emergency services, carers, and health providers across Australia. Not a disposable pocket mask sold for price — a hospital-grade resuscitation mask that meets WHS and TGA guidelines for advanced first aid and emergency kits. The mask that is in this case is the one that will perform when it is needed.
  • Hard-shell ABS case — protects from damage, dust, and contamination The hard-shell ABS plastic case protects the mask from being crushed, cracked, or contaminated in storage. Easy to clean and easy to open under pressure. A mask stored loose in a soft pouch or zip-lock bag is vulnerable to damage that may not be visible until the moment of use — the hard case eliminates that risk.
  • Barrier protection during CPR — one-way valve construction The mask provides a physical barrier between the rescuer and the patient during rescue breathing, reducing the risk of cross-contamination. The one-way valve allows air to pass from rescuer to patient while preventing backflow. For carers, first responders, and anyone who may need to perform CPR on a stranger or a patient with unknown health status, this protection matters.
  • Suited to home oxygen therapy, remote properties, carers, and WHS first aid kits Relevant for home oxygen therapy users and their carers who need resuscitation equipment on hand, remote and rural property owners where ambulance response times are extended, businesses and schools updating WHS first aid gear, and first responders and medics restocking trauma kits. Ships from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.

FAQs

What is a CPR mask used for?
A CPR mask provides a physical barrier between the rescuer and the patient during rescue breathing, allowing the rescuer to deliver breaths without direct mouth-to-mouth contact. The one-way valve allows air to pass from rescuer to patient while preventing backflow and reducing cross-contamination risk. It is a standard item in advanced first aid kits and is used by emergency services, carers, and first responders.

Why does this CPR mask come in a hard case?
The hard-shell ABS case protects the mask from being crushed, cracked, or contaminated in storage. A mask stored in a soft pouch or zip-lock bag is vulnerable to damage that may not be visible until the moment of use. The hard case ensures the mask is in ready-to-use condition when it is needed — which may be after months or years of storage in a kit.

Is this CPR mask TGA approved?
Yes. This CPR mask is TGA-approved and meets WHS and TGA guidelines for use in advanced first aid and emergency kits in Australia. It is hospital-grade construction, not a disposable pocket mask.

Is this mask suitable for home oxygen therapy users?
Yes. This CPR mask is specifically suited to home oxygen therapy users and their carers who need resuscitation equipment on hand. It is also appropriate for remote and rural property owners, carers, first responders, and anyone building an advanced first aid kit where resuscitation capability is a requirement.

Can I order in bulk or get an NDIS invoice?
Yes. We support carer organisations, clinics, and NDIS participants with bulk orders and invoicing. Contact us directly on 02 6882 9056 by phone or WhatsApp, or via our contact page at assurancefirstaidkits.com.au.

Does this mask meet WHS compliance requirements?
Yes. This CPR mask meets WHS and TGA guidelines for advanced first aid and emergency kits in Australia. It is appropriate for inclusion in workplace first aid kits where resuscitation equipment is required.

About Assurance First Aid Kits

It started back in 2008 when Samantha, a first aid trainer, kept getting the same question from her students: "But what kit should I actually buy?" After years of recommending products that didn't quite hit the mark, she and her partner Dan decided to build one themselves — right here in Dubbo, NSW.

Every kit is hand-assembled by Dan in our Dubbo store using 85% Australian-made components. No cheap fillers, no imported bulk packs — just quality gear that works when it matters most.

Samantha still trains, alongside Max and Neil, delivering nationally recognised first aid courses in Dubbo and surrounding areas. That real-world training experience is baked into every kit we build.

We're not a warehouse. We're not a big box retailer. We're a small Australian team who genuinely care whether you're prepared.
