Description

Cold therapy without a freezer, without an ice pack, without stopping play to find anything. The AeroCool Instant Cooling Spray delivers immediate cold relief for sprains, strains, and soft tissue inflammation — point, spray, and keep moving. A 150ml aerosol that fits in any sports bag, vehicle kit, or first aid bag and is ready to use the moment it is needed.

The difference between this and an instant ice pack is application speed and convenience in an active environment. When a player rolls an ankle mid-game, the spray reaches the site in seconds without the casualty having to stop, sit down, or hold a pack in place. See it included in our sports first aid kit range — it is a standard inclusion in our Sports Medical and Elite Sports kits for exactly this reason.

  • Instant cooling on contact — no refrigeration or pre-chilling required Ready to use straight from the bag at any temperature. No activation step, no waiting, no preparation. The aerosol delivers a fast-evaporating cooling agent directly to the injury site, providing immediate relief for sprains, strains, and inflammation without delay. For use on unbroken skin only.
  • Fast application in an active environment An aerosol spray reaches the injury site in one step — no unwrapping, no positioning, no holding in place. In a sports or worksite setting where speed of response matters and the first aider may be managing multiple players or workers, the spray format is significantly faster than an ice pack for initial cooling and pain relief.
  • 150ml compact aerosol — fits in any kit or bag At 170mm x 50mm, the can fits comfortably in a sports bag side pocket, first aid kit, or vehicle glove box without bulk. 150ml provides multiple applications per can — enough for a full match day or worksite shift without needing to restock mid-session.
  • Used across sport, worksites, and event first aid A standard inclusion in sports medical kits and high-activity workplace kits where soft tissue injuries are a regular occurrence. Read why coaches are moving away from generic kits — the cooling spray is one of the items that generic kits consistently leave out. Ships from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.
For use on unbroken skin only. Keep out of reach of children. Use strictly as directed. Browse the full sports and school first aid kit range to see complete kits that include this spray, or the first aid kit supplies range for individual restock items. Use our First Aid Restock Form to track what needs replacing after match day or a worksite incident.

FAQs

What is AeroCool Instant Cooling Spray used for?
AeroCool Instant Cooling Spray is used for immediate cold therapy for sprains, strains, and soft tissue inflammation. It delivers fast-evaporating cooling directly to the injury site without refrigeration or pre-chilling. For use on unbroken skin only.

What is the difference between a cooling spray and an instant ice pack?
Both deliver cold therapy for soft tissue injuries, but the application method differs. A cooling spray is faster to apply in an active environment — point and spray with no unwrapping, activation, or holding in place required. An instant ice pack provides sustained cold therapy over a longer period and is better suited to situations where the casualty can rest with the pack applied. Many sports and workplace kits carry both.

Does this spray require refrigeration?
No. AeroCool Instant Cooling Spray requires no refrigeration or pre-chilling. It is ready to use straight from the bag or kit at any ambient temperature, making it practical for sports fields, worksites, and remote locations where refrigeration is not available.

Can this spray be used on broken skin or open wounds?
No. AeroCool Instant Cooling Spray is for use on unbroken skin only. Do not apply to open wounds, broken skin, or mucous membranes. Use strictly as directed and keep out of reach of children.

How many applications does a 150ml can provide?
A 150ml can provides multiple applications per can — sufficient for a full match day or worksite shift under normal use. The compact 170mm x 50mm aerosol fits in any sports bag, first aid kit, or vehicle kit without taking up significant space.

Is this spray included in your sports first aid kits?
Yes. AeroCool Instant Cooling Spray is a standard inclusion in the Assurance Sports Medical First Aid Kit and Elite Sports First Aid Kit. It is one of the items that separates a purpose-built sports kit from a generic workplace compliance kit.

About Assurance First Aid Kits

It started back in 2008 when Samantha, a first aid trainer, kept getting the same question from her students: "But what kit should I actually buy?" After years of recommending products that didn't quite hit the mark, she and her partner Dan decided to build one themselves — right here in Dubbo, NSW.

Every kit is hand-assembled by Dan in our Dubbo store using 85% Australian-made components. No cheap fillers, no imported bulk packs — just quality gear that works when it matters most.

Samantha still trains, alongside Max and Neil, delivering nationally recognised first aid courses in Dubbo and surrounding areas. That real-world training experience is baked into every kit we build.

We're not a warehouse. We're not a big box retailer. We're a small Australian team who genuinely care whether you're prepared.
