Description

The item nobody thinks to pack until they need one urgently. The AeroWaste Vomit Bag is a practical, dignified solution for nausea and vomiting in any setting where medical care is not immediately at hand — school excursions, car trips, ambulance transport, post-operative recovery, and morning sickness. Compact enough to keep in a glove box, school first aid kit, or bag without taking up space.

Unlike a standard bag, the AeroWaste is manufactured from premium materials that will not fail under load, seals with a twist lock to contain odour and prevent spillage, and includes measurement gradations so fluid loss can be accurately recorded — information that matters when a patient is being handed over to medical care.

  • Twist lock seal — eliminates odour and spillage risk Once used, the bag twists shut and locks — containing odour and preventing spillage during disposal or transport. In a vehicle, a classroom, or an ambulance, containing the situation after use is as important as managing it during. A standard bag does not do this.
  • Premium construction — no structural failure under load Manufactured from premium raw materials with no weak points that cause spillage under the weight of fluid. The bag holds its shape and integrity when it matters — not something that can be said for improvised alternatives. A structural failure in a car or classroom creates a secondary incident that nobody needs.
  • Measurement gradations for accurate fluid loss recording Clearly marked gradations allow accurate measurement of bodily fluid lost. Relevant for first aid officers, event medics, and anyone handing a patient over to ambulance or hospital staff where fluid loss information affects clinical decisions. A detail that separates a medical-grade bag from a household alternative.
  • Suited to school excursions, car travel, morning sickness, and post-operative recovery A practical addition to school first aid kits, family vehicle kits, travel bags, and any setting where nausea and vomiting are a realistic possibility. Compact and flat-packed until needed. Ships from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.
A standard inclusion in well-equipped school and event first aid kits. Browse the full first aid kit supplies range for individual restock items, or use our First Aid Restock Form to track what needs replacing across your kits.

FAQs

What is a vomit bag used for in first aid?
A vomit bag provides a hygienic, contained solution for managing nausea and vomiting in any setting where immediate medical care is not available — school excursions, vehicle transport, ambulance care, post-operative recovery, and morning sickness. The AeroWaste Vomit Bag adds a twist lock seal and measurement gradations that standard bags do not provide.

What is the twist lock feature?
The twist lock feature allows the bag to be sealed after use by twisting the opening shut and locking it in place. This eliminates odour and prevents spillage during disposal or transport — important in vehicles, classrooms, and any enclosed environment where containing the situation after use matters.

Why do vomit bags have measurement gradations?
Measurement gradations allow accurate recording of fluid volume lost. This information is clinically relevant when a patient is being handed over to ambulance or hospital staff, as fluid loss affects assessment and treatment decisions. The AeroWaste Vomit Bag includes clear gradation markings for this purpose.

Is this bag suitable for school excursion kits?
Yes. The AeroWaste Vomit Bag is specifically suited to school excursions, car trips, and any supervised setting where children may experience motion sickness or nausea away from facilities. It is compact, flat-packed until needed, and seals after use to contain odour in an enclosed vehicle or bus.

Is this a single-use product?
Yes. The AeroWaste Vomit Bag is single-use and should be disposed of after use. Replace used bags promptly to keep your first aid kit or vehicle kit stocked and ready.

How quickly does this ship?
AeroWaste Vomit Bags ship from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.

About Assurance First Aid Kits

It started back in 2008 when Samantha, a first aid trainer, kept getting the same question from her students: "But what kit should I actually buy?" After years of recommending products that didn't quite hit the mark, she and her partner Dan decided to build one themselves — right here in Dubbo, NSW.

Every kit is hand-assembled by Dan in our Dubbo store using 85% Australian-made components. No cheap fillers, no imported bulk packs — just quality gear that works when it matters most.

Samantha still trains, alongside Max and Neil, delivering nationally recognised first aid courses in Dubbo and surrounding areas. That real-world training experience is baked into every kit we build.

We're not a warehouse. We're not a big box retailer. We're a small Australian team who genuinely care whether you're prepared.
