Description

The same full-length 92x11cm Assurance splint — neck, arm, wrist/hand, and foot immobilisation capability, three rigidity configurations, radiolucent, waterproof, reusable, latex free — in a rolled format that stores in a tighter footprint than the flat-packed version. Where the flat splint suits fixed kit locations and larger kit bags, the rolled format suits hiking packs, IFAKs, vehicle kits, and any carry where space is at a premium and the splint needs to fit into a cylindrical pouch or narrow kit compartment.

Same three-configuration foam construction — C-Curve, Reverse C-Curve, and T-Curve — with ruler markings and application diagrams for all four major field splinting applications. Unrolls immediately to full 92cm working length when needed. The compact carry option for the full-length Assurance splint.

  • Rolled format — compact carry for hiking packs, IFAKs, and vehicle kits The rolled format stores in a smaller footprint than the flat-packed version, fitting into cylindrical pouches, narrow kit compartments, and packs where a flat 92cm splint would not sit neatly. The correct format for hiking first aid kits, personal IFAKs, and vehicle kits where the full-length splint capability is required but space for flat storage is not available. Unrolls to the full 92cm working length immediately on deployment.
  • Full 92x11cm coverage — neck, arm, wrist/hand, and foot applications Same dimensions and application range as the flat-packed 92x11cm — full lower limb, lower arm, wrist, hand, and foot immobilisation coverage across all four major field splinting applications. Application diagrams and ruler markings printed directly on the splint surface for accurate field use without needing to recall technique from training.
  • Three rigidity configurations — C-Curve, Reverse C-Curve, T-Curve C-Curve for strong limb support. Reverse C-Curve for stronger immobilisation. T-Curve for maximum rigidity including cervical collar application. The same progressive configuration system as the flat-packed version — the rolled format does not change the splint's functional properties, only its storage shape.
  • Radiolucent, waterproof, reusable, latex free — Assurance branded Radiolucent — no removal required for X-ray at hospital. Waterproof for outdoor and remote Australian conditions. Reusable for training and treatment. Latex free for use on all patients. Branded Assurance First Aid Kits. Ships from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.
The rolled format is the correct choice for hiking packs, IFAKs, and vehicle kits where compact cylindrical storage is needed. For fixed kit locations and larger kit bags where flat storage is practical, the flat-packed 92x11cm Assurance Splint is available in the same range. FAQs

What is the difference between the rolled and flat-packed 92x11cm Assurance splint?
The dimensions, application range, and functional properties are identical — both are the full 92x11cm Assurance splint with three rigidity configurations covering neck, arm, wrist/hand, and foot applications. The difference is storage format. The rolled version stores in a tighter cylindrical footprint suited to hiking packs, IFAKs, and vehicle kits where flat storage is impractical. The flat-packed version suits fixed kit locations and larger kit bags where flat storage is available.

Does rolling the splint affect its function?
No. Rolling the splint for storage does not affect its functional properties. The foam construction maintains its C-Curve, Reverse C-Curve, and T-Curve configuration capability regardless of how it has been stored. Unroll to the full 92cm working length and shape as required for the application.

What applications is the rolled 92x11cm splint suited to?
The rolled 92x11cm Assurance splint covers neck, arm, wrist and hand, and foot immobilisation — all four major field splinting applications — with application diagrams printed on the splint surface. It provides the full-length coverage needed for lower arm, lower leg, and foot immobilisation.

Is this splint radiolucent?
Yes. The Assurance rolled splint is radiolucent and does not need to be removed for X-ray imaging at hospital — reducing patient handling and pain on arrival.

Is this splint reusable?
Yes. The foam construction maintains its properties through multiple uses and is suitable for training, practice, and treatment. Clean after each treatment use before returning to the kit.

About Assurance First Aid Kits

It started back in 2008 when Samantha, a first aid trainer, kept getting the same question from her students: "But what kit should I actually buy?" After years of recommending products that didn't quite hit the mark, she and her partner Dan decided to build one themselves — right here in Dubbo, NSW.

Every kit is hand-assembled by Dan in our Dubbo store using 85% Australian-made components. No cheap fillers, no imported bulk packs — just quality gear that works when it matters most.

Samantha still trains, alongside Max and Neil, delivering nationally recognised first aid courses in Dubbo and surrounding areas. That real-world training experience is baked into every kit we build.

We're not a warehouse. We're not a big box retailer. We're a small Australian team who genuinely care whether you're prepared.
