Description
The larger format in the Assurance splint range. Where the 50cm splint covers neck, arm, and wrist applications, the 92x11cm covers the full range — neck, arm, wrist and hand, and foot — in a single piece of equipment that adapts to the injury through three configurable rigidity profiles. At nearly a metre long, this splint provides the coverage needed for full lower arm, lower leg, and foot immobilisation that the shorter format cannot achieve.
Same three-configuration foam construction — C-Curve for strong support, Reverse C-Curve for stronger, T-Curve for maximum rigidity including cervical collar application. Lightweight, waterproof, radiolucent, reusable, and latex free. Ruler markings and application diagrams for neck, arm, wrist/hand, and foot printed directly on the splint. The comprehensive field splinting tool for advanced first aid kits, sports medical kits, and remote area trauma packs.
- 92x11cm — full-length coverage for arm, leg, wrist, hand, and foot At 92cm, this splint provides coverage for full lower limb applications that the 50cm format cannot reach. Foot and ankle immobilisation, full forearm splinting, lower leg support, and extended wrist and hand coverage are all achievable from a single piece of equipment. The correct size for advanced first aid kits, remote area trauma packs, and sports kits where the full range of fracture and dislocation presentations is a realistic requirement.
- Three rigidity configurations — C-Curve, Reverse C-Curve, T-Curve The foam construction folds into three progressively rigid profiles. C-Curve for strong limb support. Reverse C-Curve for stronger support requiring firmer immobilisation. T-Curve for maximum rigidity including cervical collar application for neck support. All four application areas — neck, arm, wrist/hand, and foot — are illustrated with diagrams printed on the splint surface so correct technique is available at the point of care without relying on memory.
- Radiolucent, waterproof, latex free — does not need removal for X-ray Radiolucent construction means the splint does not need to be removed for imaging at hospital — reducing patient handling and pain on arrival. Waterproof for use in wet and outdoor Australian conditions without degrading. Latex free for use on all patients without allergy risk. Lightweight enough for hiking packs, sports bags, and remote area carry without meaningful weight addition.
- Ruler markings, reusable, Assurance branded Centimetre ruler markings on both long edges for accurate limb measurement before application. Reusable after cleaning — suitable for training and practice use without depleting treatment stock. Branded Assurance First Aid Kits — the larger splint format for advanced kit configurations. Ships from Dubbo, NSW within 2 business days.
